Chalk, in the hands of a child, can turn a typical day into a “my cup runneth over” kind of a day.
I live in sunny California with my husband and we are soon-to-be empty nesters. Our two kids have recently graduated college and are ready to soar. Seeing my own children learn and grow, I understand the importance of every step, every connection, every relationship. I have cards and emails from my students and their family members that are evidence, to me, that what I do truly matters. I love teaching!
Before earning my teaching credential, I relied on my art degree for earning money. When my children entered school, I realized I loved the environment… the kids! I took a severe pay cut and became a teacher; best decision ever. I still love art in all its forms and use it inside and outside of the classroom. Out of necessity, I began creating products, lessons, forms, signage for my own classroom. Soon, I was happily sharing those items with my colleagues. Now, I enjoy developing useful, effective products that help us all save time and energy!
